In autumn, my thoughts—along with the legions of other Gilmore Girls fans—turn to Stars Hollow. And this autumn in particular because W.W. Norton is publishing Life’s Short, Talk Fast: 15 Writers on Why We Can’t Stop Watching Gilmore Girls, the anthology I edited that features me and fourteen other writers wriitng about topics such as: Lorelai’s coats, #TeamLogan, Rory and reading, the meaning of home, in defense of Rory, moms like and unlike Emily Gilmore, another view of Connecticut, Lane Kim, and more.
We are hosting a special zoom party to launch the book and I’d love if you and any Gilmore Girls fans you know can join us! (Honestly, even people who haven’t watched the show will enjoy the zoom party—and the book!) Scroll down for the link to register…

Ann, I had a wonderful time being a part of the audience for your Zoom launch for your new book. I loved how every writer gave a little taste of their essays and made you want more. Each author’s essay seemed intriguing and very diverse. I can’t wait to purchase your book tomorrow. Also, I loved the trivia game, so much fun. Please thank Michael for the great Expresso Coffee Martini recipe.
What a wonderful idea. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to pass. Sante!
