What a wonderful life! Heartening to remember both quotidian joys and the over-arching joys of connections with nature, loved ones, and history in these on-alert times.
I recently frogged a hat-in-progress when realized I no longer had the eyesight of a teenager (tiny yarn/tiny needles). I gave the yarn to my niece and nephew (who were elated). Now working on a chunkier throw which is bringing me joy. I get it.
You move around more than Carmen San Diego -- enjoying all your travel vicariously.
I always enjoy your books, as well as your 3 things post with the positive perspectives, along with the photos they contain. I agree, old friends are precious blessings.
It’s always tough to walk away from something you’ve put so much effort into be it a sewing project or a relationship. That moment of letting go, admitting to yourself it’s time while acknowledging that it’s ok to do so, is huge. Good on you! And cheers always to finding love!🥰
Great for you abandoning your knitting project. The yarn does not look like the kind that glides softly over the fingers. Traveling seems like it might require a soft mindless knit. Love your books. Have reread a couple. So glad you found love with Michael. We all deserve to find that easy comfortable love in life and to reach that time in our lives where we are knowledgeable about ourselves. Cheers!
I'm going to do the same with one of my projects. I didn't think about it. I have fog in my brain— too many things to manage. Thanks for the idea’s support.
I love reading these glimpses of happiness and heart sun — whether it pours outside or if I crave doing the same (notice I do not say I die with jealousy 😉).
The most satisfying is to see you more alive than life, to see you eat life from every corner. You are radiant because of it. Yes, I envy you, Ann, and wish you to never willingly stop. Warmly.
I love that quote about pearls. That's a keeper. Congrats on your Ziploc bag decision 😉

Do it!
Love that rainbow video, but loved seeing you as a Fly Girl even more. ❤️❤️
