Thank you so much for being so generous with your time and your thoughts. I always read every word you write and admire your pursuits of all things, all the time. Traveling mercies to you and your love 💕

There’s nothing that making a good list can’t fix! My daughter and husband make fun of me because I’ve always got a paper and pen at the ready! Cheers to husbands who read, reread and reread our work again and again. Happy you made your deadline. Safe travels, sounds like it’s started off wonderfully!

I love where the meandering leads to such a beautiful and thoughtful piece.

Ann, you are truly inspirational I can’t wait to read your new novel whenever it arrives. I have made 3 Sophie scarves no problem, but the last one I was (am still) making I did the same thing, just kept increasing! Lessons learned, be well Ann and keep sharing!

Was just in Ireland a couple of weeks ago and found it just as lovely as you did. Didn't get to as many used book stores as I'd like but I did find one in Galway and came home with a antique cookbook. Will definitely need to go back.

Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing a wee bit of Ireland with us. It makes me homesick for a place that was never my actual home. Enjoy!

A lot of good advice here! Thank you.

An Irish rainbow! Your stack this morning is definitely the pot of gold at the end of it. Thanks for this, Ann.

We've only been as far north as Donegal. Have not gotten to Dunfanaghy and

Glenveagh National Park. It sounds marvelous!! We were planning a trip to southwest Ireland this summer, but it doesn't look like it will pan out. We love Ireland so much. One of our most memorable times was staying in Moveen, Co. Clare in Thomas Lynch's ancestral cottage. We wanted to move in permanently:) Sending love!

I love seeing these glimpses into la vie Hood-Ruhlman.

Alas, the toilets here do not have shelves. As you will learn next summer when you join us in Dingle!

Love the bleats - very atmospheric!

Ann, I think you are the only other person I've "met" who says "Let's!" ❤️

Also, one of the two forewords of my debut novel that I just published (!!) is the Merriam-Webster entry for "remembrance," because every single definition ties to the book. Don't you love words??

Ann Hood's avatar

Interesting. I think of it as a contraction for Let us!

Yes! My friend tells me I speak like I'm from the '50s. :D

Well, that explains it. I am from the 50s.
